Reservation Clerk/ Courtesy Van Driver/ Horse Wrangler - IRONWOOD RANCH

Responsible for telephone reservations, guest check in and guest pickup for large horseback riding ranch. Assist with preparation, feeding, grooming and healthcare of 30+ horses. Assist guests in mounting and dismounting. Mainatain company vehicles and property.

Sept 99 - May 00 Operations Manager - HOLOHOLO CHARTERS
Oversee the day-to-day running of company vessels, captains and crew. Responsible for the implementation and administration of training programs on seamanship, showmanship, sailing and safety. Liaised between maintenance, logistics, safety and supply departments to ensure safe, timely and efficient operation of all tours.

Nov 97 - Sept 99 Crew/First Mate - HOLOHOLO CHARTERS Lead crew with startup tour company aboard their vessels m/v Holoholo (61ft power Catamaran) and s/v Leila (48ft sailing catamaran) conducting snorkel and sightseeing tours of Niihau and the Na Pali coast of Kauai, Hawaii. Trained junior crew in sailing and seamanship skills. Acted as First Mate of vessels during tours.

1996 - 1997 First Mate/Engineer - NAVATEK II
Responsible for daily operation of all mechanical and electrical systems onboard 80 foot SWATH (Small Waterplane Area, Twin Hull) tourist charter vessel, including start up and shutdown of all equipment, routine maintenance, breakdown fault finding and repair and weekly planned maintenance. responsible for overall supervision of crew. Responsible for day to day running of 60 foot auxiliary sailing ketch during long offshore passages between New Zealand and the Western Mediterranean.
